Jacki Vause has worked in publishing and public relations for over 22 years with experience managing traditional and digital, mobile and social communications strategies for major clients including Channel 4, Siemens, Celador International, Avaya, GE, AT&T, Tyco, Marsh, Henkel, Rohm & Haas, Unisys and Panasonic.

Jacki is also an entrepreneur and has founded a number of the UK's most exciting online media properties including PRshots.com and Appromoter.com.

Jacki started her career in publishing at VNU Business Publications managing leading titles including Personal Computer World, Personal Computer Magazine, Var World, What PC and Micro Decision. Jacki was headhunted to join Roderick Manhattan Group Ltd as General Manager and was one of the founding members of PlanIT Software and Starfish Software - subsidiaries of RMG.

In 1995 Jacki founded Vause and Associates a specialist IT PR agency. In 1997 Vause and Associates merged with Flapjack Communications. Flapjack Communications grew to be one of the leading high-tech PR agencies. In 2001 Flapjack merged with Midnight Communications to form one of the leading independent PR consultancies in the UK. Jacki co-founded Peppercom UK, a leading strategic communications firm with Steve Cody and Ed Moed, the managing partners of Peppercom inc, in April 2002. In December 2011 she left Peppercom to co-found Dimoso, one of the UK's first truly integrated digital marketing and PR agencies.

Jacki is also the founder of appromoter.com, an online discovery site that helps developers promote their applications to the media.

Jacki is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Lady Taverners.
