Jacki started her career in publishing at VNU Business Publications managing leading titles including Personal Computer World, Personal Computer Magazine, Var World, What PC and Micro Decision. Jacki was headhunted to join Roderick Manhattan Group Ltd as General Manager and was one of the founding members of PlanIT Software and Starfish Software - subsidiaries of RMG.
In 1995 Jacki founded Vause and Associates a specialist IT PR agency. In 1997 Vause and Associates merged with Flapjack Communications. Flapjack Communications grew to be one of the leading high-tech PR agencies. In 2001 Flapjack merged with Midnight Communications to form one of the leading independent PR consultancies in the UK. Jacki co-founded Peppercom UK, a leading strategic communications firm with Steve Cody and Ed Moed, the managing partners of Peppercom inc, in April 2002.
